I have never found a poorly made Folkmanis puppet - they hold up to classroom use, and children typically connect with them instantly.  I tried one of the Little Turtle Puppets for our program, since they cost a little less than the full body turtle puppet.  They are equally cute, but the head doesn't pull all the way into the body; so, we'll stick with the full body puppet for now.
